I believe for a workplace to thrive, grow and succeed, it must foster a safe, welcoming work environment with an inclusive work culture for all genders, sexual minorities, ethnicities, races, castes, and nationalities feel valued and can play an equal role in the organization’s development as well as society as a whole.
So, when I was approached by team TOC to join them as a co-founder on the mission of bringing those individuals on the margins of society to the centre, I was happily excited. The Outcast Collective endeavors to prepare organisations to be geared for working with different individuals, for greater results.
Through our diversity and inclusion training, we impart information about how employees can be more inclusive by increasing their knowledge and awareness of cultural, religious, or racial differences. With that said, training programs may differ in approaches depending on an organization’s specific goals and the areas that need improvement.
My training program will also address a range of relevant topics including the different types of bias, their effects, and how to conquer them.
